No “hey guys, welcome back.” No preview of what the video will cover. One unresolved thing, in one sentence, and the only way to resolve it is to keep watching.
What to change first
Rewrite the first sentence of your last three reels and post the next one with the new opening. Do not change the topic, the editing or the audio at the same time, or you will not know what worked. Then judge it against what you normally get, not against whatever is on your explore page.
